During the current conflict in the Ukraine, the locals sought to protect their statues and public artworks with sandbags.

To raise awareness of an upcoming tour of the Ukrainian ballet (featuring 60 refugee dancers) an installation in Covent Garden saw a ballerina perform moments from Gisele as if a statue protected by a tower of white sandbags.
