20% of Australians have some form of disability, visible or non-visible, and yet only 1% of people with disability appear in advertisements. This idea looked to change that statistic by replacing able-bodied actors in more than 11 well-known and current TV commercials.

As part of this initiative, we were asked to re-shoot some of the commercials and direct the ‘Making-of’ documentary, which took audiences on a tour of the behind-the-scenes world of film and advertising whilst highlighting the important people and stories that are driving the initiative.

This project is just the start of an ongoing initiative to increase representation in advertising for people with disability, and we are proud to have been a part of it.
